Actor Martin Sheen, who plays U.S. President Josiah Bartlet on the Emmy Award winning television program “The West Wing,” has lent his voice in support of the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum in Boston.

Sheen volunteered his time to record a new series of radio ads promoting the Museum at the John F. Kennedy Library and the inspiration visitors experience when they visit the national memorial to President Kennedy.

The four 30-second spots carry excerpts from the speeches of President John F. Kennedy followed by Sheen’s recorded tag-line: “Get Inspired. The Museum at the John F. Kennedy Library. Columbia Point. Boston.”

The ads were created by Oxygen, a Boston-based communications firm, which approached actor Sheen on behalf of the Kennedy Library. They will air on WBZ-AM Radio the week of October 27- November 2, 2003.

The four radio spots are excerpts from President Kennedy’s Inaugural Address and speeches on the Space Race and World Peace.
