This folder contains a statement and affidavit concerning a public meeting where campaign literature prepared by the Republican National Committee was distributed and the meeting’s leader expressed opposition to Senator John F. Kennedy’s presidential candidacy based solely on the religious issue. This material was sent to the Fair Elections Practices Committee for further investigation.
