This folder contains copies of a speech titled, "Africa – The Coming Challenge," given by Senator John F. Kennedy at a Democratic luncheon in Watertown, Wisconsin. In his speech Senator Kennedy discusses recent transformations in African nations, the importance of education to achieve independence and progress, and proposes the creation of an African Educational Development Fund and a multi-national economic development fund for Africa.
