This folder contains press releases of statements, addresses, and remarks made by Senator John F. Kennedy during the 1960 presidential campaign. Topics include higher education; civil rights; labor; the role of the President as Chief Executive and leader of the United States; the federal budget; insurance for the aged; the Senator’s decision not to speak at a memorial service for four interfaith chaplains who died during World War II; and the Nebraska, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin presidential primary elections.
