Folder Description
This folder contains telegrams and memoranda between United States Ambassador to India John Kenneth Galbraith, President John F. Kennedy, and numerous National Security Council officials. Topics include U.S. policy and military assistance to India, relations between India and Pakistan, Kashmir, and the political climate of India. Of note is a letter from Ambassador Galbraith to President Kennedy upon the conclusion of his duties as ambassador.
