Folder Description
This folder contains memoranda and telegrams regarding a plan by Dr. Joseph Johnson, Special Representative of the United Nations Palestine Conciliation Commission, to resolve the Palestinian refugee issue and reactions from Arab countries to the Johnson Plan, including opposition by Israel. Also included in this folder are summaries of meetings between Secretary of State Dean Rusk and Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Golda Meir.
