Folder Description
This folder contains weekly summaries of events in Middle Eastern countries including Syria, Israel, and Saudi Arabia; United States policy towards the Middle East; and revolutions in Lebanon and Yemen. Also included in this folder is a study by the Department of Defense, International Security Affairs (ISA) of CENTO (Central Treaty Organization) countries including an assessment of military forces, the threat of communism, and United States response capabilities.
