The series "Correspondence, 1943‑1952: Personal" contains family and general correspondence, telegrams, greetings, congratulations and souvenirs. Included are two subject entries, "Outstanding Man of the Year Award", for which John F. Kennedy was selected in 1947, and "Robert Kennedy Wedding" in 1950. Of note are letters written in 1943 by Kennedy while he was in the Navy and a 1948 letter from Robert Kennedy to his parents regarding his trip to Palestine.
