Folder Description
This folder contains handwritten notes and doodles by John F. Kennedy that were collected and transcribed by his secretary, Evelyn Lincoln. Materials consist of notes written prior to a briefing at the Atomic Energy Commission, notes regarding Algerian peace talks, notes written during an appointment with Chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Committee John Lynch, notes written during a telephone conversation with Attorney General Robert Kennedy, notes written prior to a statement on the settlement of the airway labor dispute, and notes taken during telephone conversations with Undersecretary of State George Ball and Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Harland Cleveland.
