This folder contains handwritten notes and doodles by John F. Kennedy that were collected and transcribed by his secretary, Evelyn Lincoln. Materials consist of notes taken during a National Security meeting; notes written during a telephone conversation with British Ambassador to the United States David Ormsby-Gore; notes taken during a meeting on economic policy; notes taken during a meeting regarding a message to Congress on national health needs; notes written during a discussion prior to his meeting with Alexei Adzhubei; notes following off the record meetings; notes written after an off the record meeting with Nicholas Katzenbach; notes written during a Cabinet meeting; notes written for meetings with Secretary of the Treasury Douglas Dillion, Secretary of Commerce Luther Hodges, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency John McCone, and General Maxwell Taylor; and notes written for an appointment with Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara.
