This folder contains handwritten notes and doodles by John F. Kennedy that were collected and transcribed by his secretary, Evelyn Lincoln. Materials consist of a note written prior to his appointment with Mr. Seigenthaler; a letter dictated, signed, and corrected by the President; notes written during an off the record meeting; notes written during an appointment with Joseph P. McMurray; notes taken during a meeting on the economy; notes written during a meeting on Laos; notes written during a legislative leaders meeting; notes written prior to greeting a group of police officers during National Police Week; reminder notes written during a New York City trip; and remarks written prior to a brief speech at the dedication of the Pennsylvania Station South Urban Renewal Project.
