In his speech President Kennedy discusses the vigor of the Democratic Party, and addresses the ongoing partisan struggle that impedes the government’s ability to achieve certain goals, such as racial equality, improved education, decreased unemployment, dependable protection for the elderly, and supremacy in space exploration.
