First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy presents the Children’s Art Carnival in the garden of the Prime Minister’s residence, Teen Murti Bhavan. New Delhi, India. Mrs. Kennedy stands at table with Indira Gandhi, daughter of Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru; Assistant White House Press Secretary, Jay W. Gildner, stands in background directly behind Mrs. Gandhi. The First Lady presented the art carnival to the children of India on behalf of the International Council of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Asia Society.
