Inspired by John F. Kennedy's approach to learning, we encourage teachers and their students to engage in a dynamic, rigorous, and reflective study of history and politics.  Our programs and resources focus on the life and legacy of John F. Kennedy, the early 1960s, and contemporary topics in politics and public affairs.

School Visits

We offer interactive, guided school programs for elementary, middle, and high school students.  Self-guided museum visits are available for middle and high school students.

 

Materials, Resources, and Activities for Teachers

Choose from a variety of materials including primary and secondary sources, activities, and curriculum-relevant resources from online exhibits.   

Professional Development

The Kennedy Presidential Library sponsors day-long conferences and one and two week-long institutes for teachers. Teachers may earn professional development points and/or graduate credit for many conferences.
