This year the Kennedy Library will recognize up to 100 middle school students from across Massachusetts for the difference they have made in their communities through service projects. For complete information on the award program, click here for a program brochure.

The award is given to students who are nominated by teachers, principals and other community leaders for contributions they have made to their neighborhood, town or community. The students will receive a personalized certificate at an award ceremony to be held at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.  Projects for which students received awards last year included helping fellow students with disabilities, working at local food pantries and senior centers, organizing recycling projects, raising funds for autism and childhood cancer research, and fundraising for children in Uganda and Haiti.

For additional information or to nominate a middle school student, please call 617-514-1654 or send an email to difference.award@jfklibrary.org.
