The Personal Papers of Barbara J. Coleman (1935?- )

Biographical Note
Barbara Coleman joined the staff of Senator John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts in 1959. From 1961 to approximately 1963 she worked as a secretary in charge of photos in the Office of the Press Secretary. In 1963 she began work for the Democratic National Committee. After leaving the Democratic National Committee she joined the staff of Senator Robert F. Kennedy of New York in approximately 1965.

Collection Overview
The Papers of Barbara Coleman consist of copies of memorandum and other material exchanged between individuals of the John F. Kennedy Campaign Staff of 1960. Additional material consists of copies of correspondence by other individuals to the Democratic National Committee in 1963. The bulk of the material concentrates on the political record of Senator John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts, 1953 to 1960.
