Oral History Interviews (1964, 1971): Alsop completed a total of five interviews for the John F. Kennedy Library, two for the John F. Kennedy Oral History Project (JFK#1 interview: 6/18/1964; JFK#2 interview: 6/26/1964), and three as part of the Robert F. Kennedy Oral History Project (RFK#1 interview: 6/10/1971; RFK#2 interview: 9/1/1971; RFK#3 interview: 10/29/1971).

The oral history interviews completed for the John F. Kennedy Oral History Project comments upon Alsop's friendship with President Kennedy, offers his reflections on the Kennedy administration including key events such as the campaign for presidency, selection of cabinet members and White House staff, the Bay of Pigs, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and Berlin, among other issues.

The oral history interviews completed for the Robert F. Kennedy Oral History Project comments upon Alsop's relationship with Robert Kennedy, the New York Senate Race, Vietnam, Robert Kennedy's relationship with Lyndon B. Johnson, and the Civil Rights movement, among other issues.
