Oral History Interviews (1968): Battle completed three interviews for the John F. Kennedy Library; JFK#1 interview: 7/9/1968; JFK#2 interview: 8/27/1968; JFK#3 interview: 10/31/1968. These interviews comment upon the roles of key administrators in the State Department during the Kennedy Administration; relations between the White House and State Department; fallout from the Bay of Pigs invasion; the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs, including the Inter-Agency Youth Committee and Robert F. Kennedy’s involvement in youth affairs; and the U.S. involvement in UNESCO; among other issues.
