First Lady of the United States (1963-1969).  Lady Bird (Claudia Alta Taylor) married Lyndon Baines Johnson, November 1934.  Two children: Lynda Bird and Luci Baines. First Lady's Committee for a More Beautiful Capital; supporter, Head Start Project; founded National Wildflower Research Center (1982).

Oral History Interview (1979): Mrs. Lady Bird Johnson completed one interview for the John F. Kennedy Library Oral History Program; March 9, 1979. The interview comments upon her recollections of the Kennedy Presidency, her husband's role as Vice President, and her relationship with the Kennedy family, among other issues.
