Each interview comments upon Mankiewicz's impressions of Robert Kennedy, his role as press secretary, Latin American affairs, staffing issues, Robert Kennedy's relationship with President Johnson, the wiretapping controversy, the book To Seek A Newer World , the William Manchester controversy, issues relating to Robert Kennedy's decision to run in the 1968 election, primary elections, Robert Kennedy's debate with Eugene McCarthy, and the California campaign, among other issues.
