Am I able to host my wedding at the John F. Kennedy Presidential  Library and Museum?

Am I able to use any caterer that I wish when hosting an event at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum?

Am I able to host my company's holiday party at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum?

Am I able to host my wedding at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum?

No.  The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum does not permit personal functions such as weddings, birthday parties, Bar or Bat Mitzvahs or engagement parties.  This is regulation of the National Archives and Records Administration.

Am I able to use any caterer that I wish when hosting an event at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum?

No. The Library partners with Gourmet Caterers on all special events.  This is an exclusive agreement and we do not permit the use of any other outside caterer.

Am I able to host my company's holiday party at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum?

Yes.  The event facilities at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum are available for corporations to use for entertainment purposes, such as a holiday party.

How do I get an estimate of what my entire event will cost?

The events department will provide a quote for the fees to rent the facility.  Clients must contact Gourmet Caterers directly at 617-514-1586 for a catering proposal.  Clients must also contact one of the Library's three preferred vendors for an audio-visual services quote. 

Does the Library have parking for my event guests?

Yes.  Free parking is available on the premises.  Please call the event's office at 617-514-1582 for capacity information.

Do I have to contact an Audio-Visual company if I only need a podium and microphone?

Yes.  All audio-visual services are additional.  All services must be provided by one of our preferred audio-visual companies.

Can event guests tour the Museum exhibits?

Yes.  Access to the Museum exhibits is included in the facility rental fee.  Guests are welcome to take a self-guided tour of the Museum.  For evening events, the Museum is open exclusively to your guests from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  During day events, your guests will be touring the exhibits with other visiting public.

Can I bring in my own audio-visual staff or my own vendor to service my event?

No.  All clients must contract with one of the Library's three preferred vendors if audio-visual services are needed.
