Bible with a leather cover and vellum pages. Bible is written in Ge'ez, the liturgical language of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and the medium of traditional Ethiopian learning and scholarship.
Bible with a carved mother-of-pearl cover. The front of cover has a mother of pearl inlay with a nativity scene and elaborate floral border. The back cover is inlaid with a scene of the Last Supper.
New Testament bible handwritten in Amharic and Ge'ez languages. Cover is bound in silver with a gold relief figure of Jesus on the cross flanked by two angels set in the center on red velvet. Inscription in Ge'ez engraved in gold at the base of the cross.
Bible written in Amharic with an English translation of the preface written by Emperor Haile Selassie I. The pages are bound with a green leather cover embossed in gold with a cross, beneath which is Amharic text.
