Stanley Baughman, President of the Federal National Mortgage Association of the Housing and Home Finance Agency; Dr. Robert R. Gilruth, Director of the Manned Spacecraft Center, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA); Dr. Donald E. Gregg, Chief of the Department of Cardiorespiratory Diseases at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research; Dr. Frances O. Kelsey, Medical Officer at the Food and Drug Administration; Mrs. Waldo K. Lyon, accepting for her husband, Head of the Submarine and Arctic Research Branch at the Navy Electronics Laboratory; and Llewellyn E. Thompson, Career Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Austria, and the former Soviet Union.
