Also of note is correspondence with British Admiral of the Fleet Sir Caspar John, First Sea Lord of the Royal Navy; and a letter from Eric Johnston, President of the Motion Picture Association of America.

Also of note is a letter from Associate Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas in which he writes that he was denied permission to visit Siberia by the Soviet Embassy because his presence would be harmful to the interests of the Soviet Union.
