Carr of San Francisco; Senator Thomas J. McIntyre of New Hampshire; Governor John W. King of New Hampshire; Philip L. Graham of the Washington Post; FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover; President John F. Kennedy; C. Douglas Dillon, Secretary of the Treasury; Charles J. Hitch, Assistant Secretary of Defense; and William McC. Martin, Jr., Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. There are also numerous White House press releases of remarks by President Johnson; the platform booklet from the 1964 Democratic National Convention; and three items published by the Democratic National Committee: "Some Hard Questions about the Civil Rights Act," "A Goldwater Primer in Five Parts," and "Goldwater Contradictions and Shifts." Note that file contains some draft statements about the General Services Administration that were written by Boutin for other government officials.
