This folder contains copies of a speech by Representative John F. Kennedy. In his speech he recounts the escape of his fellow PT-109 crew mate Patrick McMahon when the Japanese destroyer Amagiri collided with their PT-109 boat during World War II. He goes on to discuss "Collectivism vs. Capitalism" and the importance of working together and voting to preserve our nation in the fight against Communism. Of note are handwritten edits by Representative Kennedy.
