In an unprecedented act recognizing the grave threats to democracy around the world, the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation today announced that five individuals will be honored with the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award this year. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, U.S. Congresswoman Liz Cheney, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers, and Fulton County, Georgia Election Department Employee Wandrea “Shaye” Moss were each chosen for the courage they’ve shown protecting democracy in the United States and abroad.
