Topics include high energy accelerator physics, atomic energy, and nuclear weapons testing. Of note is a report by the Twining Committee titled, "Military Implications of U.S. and Soviet Nuclear Testing." Also included in this folder is the report of a trip to the Soviet Union by the U.S. Atomic Energy Delegation titled, "Atomic Energy in the Soviet Union." This folder also contains a folder of a report titled, "Panel on High Energy Accelerator Physics," by the General Advisory Committee to the AEC and the Presidential Science Advisory Committee.

Topics include a study of the civilian nuclear power development program, a reorganization of the AEC, an amendment to the 1963 budget that gives an increase to the AEC, and a meeting between the President and the CP-1 (Chicago Pile-1) scientists who built the first nuclear reactor.
