This folder contains copies and drafts of Senator John F. Kennedy’s speech titled, “The Education of an American Politician,” given at an annual convention of the American Association of School Administrators and National School Board Association at the Atlantic City Auditorium in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In his speech the Senator discusses the role of educators in shaping the minds of the future leaders of the United States and a need for greater scholarship in politics. Of note is a draft with notations by Senator Kennedy.
