This file contains a copy of Senator John F. Kennedy’s speech given at Hemming Park in Jacksonville, Florida during his 1960 presidential campaign. In his speech the Senator discusses differences between the political parties, and the failure of Vice President Richard M. Nixon to stop the spread of communism. Also included is a press release acknowledging the endorsement of Senator Kennedy by the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Iron Workers Union.
