This file contains a copy of Senator John F. Kennedy's speech given at the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois, during his 1960 presidential campaign. In his speech the Senator discusses a need to re-establish the United States as a world leader in the fight against communism, including a need to increase foreign aid to emerging African countries.
