President Kennedy is standing on the terrace in front of a microphone and five unidentified individuals stand behind him near a door. The photograph was sent to President Kennedy in a letter from Agnete Pihl, an AFS student from Norway. According to an accompanying letter, Ms. Pihl took the photograph with a Brownie 127 camera from the White House lawn.
