This folder contains remarks given by Senator John F. Kennedy in Durango, Colorado. In his speech Senator Kennedy discusses the failure of President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s Administration to develop new programs for the conservation of natural resources, and proposes the establishment of a Council of Resource and Conservation Advisers in the Office of the President to assess conservation needs and develop programs to resolve the issues.
