Folder Description
This folder contains correspondence, memoranda, and telegrams concerning the planning, formatting, and outcome of the televised debates between Senator John F. Kennedy and Vice President Richard M. Nixon. The debates were broadcast simultaneously on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC), the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS), the National Broadcasting Company (NBC), and their affiliated stations. Also included in this folder are telegrams between Senator Kennedy and Vice President Nixon concerning the debates.
