Sound recording of President John F. Kennedy’s taped remarks for the opening of the 14th National Science Fair International in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In his address the President says how New Mexico is a significant location for the science fair due to its history with the atomic bomb, research and development with nuclear power, basic study of weather and water, and the White Sands Missile Range.
