Necklace made of a chain of gold tinsel with sequins and embroidery on red paper. The center emblem is in the shape of a embroidered with three five-petaled flowers. This welcome necklace is traditionally considered a symbolic emblem of brotherhood.

This necklace was presented to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy by Prime Minister Nehru during her state visit to India in March 1962 as a symbol of welcome.  Mrs. Kennedy wore this necklace during her stay there.
