John F. Kennedy's World War II Dog Tag

United States Navy identification tag for Lt. John F. Kennedy for his service in World War II. Oval silver tag engraved: John/Fitzgerald/Kennedy/Ensign/USNR-O/T-9/42.  Tag has two holes at either end and hangs from a silver chain.  Attached to the chain are two additional medals; one is a St. Christopher medal and the other is a 1854 gold US 1 dollar coin.

This is the dog tag that Lt. John F. Kennedy wore while serving as an Officer in the United State Navy in the South Pacific as a captain of PT-109.
