Description: "Kennedy Tour: Irish Acclaim Highlights Visit." President John F. Kennedy has tea and cake with his cousin Mary Ryan in Dunganstown, the birthplace of his fraternal grandfather. Kennedy departs for New Ross, Wexford County and travels through the streets by motorcade. In Dublin, President Eamon de Valera hosts a garden party in Kennedy's honor at his residence, Áras an Uachtaráin. President Kennedy then travels to the Gatwick Airport in London, England where he is greeted by Prime Minister Harold Macmillan. They exchange greetings. Later, Italian President Antonio Segni greets Kennedy at an airport outside of Rome, where President Kennedy partakes in a brief welcoming ceremony.
