JFKPOF-003-008-p0026 A letter from Dr. John F. Kidhal to President Kennedy critiquing the President's seating for meetings.

Accession Number: JFKPOF-003-008-p0026

Description: This letter from Dr. John P. Kidahl proposes alternative seating arrangements for President Kennedy's office meetings. Dr. Kidahl suggests that since President Kennedy's rocking chair's height is greater than the height of the sofa in his office, the arrangement could make his guests feel "ill-at-ease" or even "resentful."4
