About the Gala

The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation’s 34th Annual May Dinner celebrated President John F. Kennedy’s life and legacy and raised funds to benefit the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. Ambassador Caroline Kennedy and Ronald L. Sargent, Board Chair, together with Dinner Co-Chairs Yvonne Garcia and Ron O’Hanley, hosted this year’s gala. A special highlight was the presentation of the Profile in Courage Award an unprecedented five individuals at the local, state, national, and international level.

The May Dinner provides crucial unrestricted financial support to the JFK Library’s free programming, which serves hundreds of thousands of adults and children annually through educational and public programs—all adapted to virtual formats since the onset of the pandemic.
