Physical DescriptionA full length evening gown in ivory Zibeline, the bodice is embroidered with jet beads. This gown has a bell shaped skirt and a strapless bodice.
Historical NoteThis gown was worn by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy to a dinner hosted by the President of Peru, Manuel Prado at the Peruvian Embassy in Washington D.C. on September 21, 1961. She also wore it to a state dinner honoring the Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru at the White House on November 7, 1961.

Custodial History NoteItem is from the personal collection of President and Mrs. Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
