Physical DescriptionRed, orange and yellow tin tile with a painted enamel image of a Mayan King or scribe wearing an elaborate headdress. He is seated next to two vertical glyphs floating on the left. The rectangular piece of tin is attached to a wood frame.
Historical NotePresented to President Kennedy by Alejandrina Morales the wife of the President of Honduras during their state visit to the White House on November 30, 1962.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift to President and Mrs. Kennedy from Ramon Villeda Morales, President of Honduras. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
