This folder primarily contains form letters sent by John L. Saltonstall, Director of the Committee of Arts, Letters, and Sciences for Kennedy for President, inviting individuals to join the committee and requesting contributions for advertising costs. Also included in this folder is a proposed statement in support of Senator John F. Kennedy’s 1960 presidential campaign, and a plan of operation for the committee.
