Physical DescriptionPortrait of President Kennedy made from colored pearlized ribbon cut into circular disks and set on surface overlapping each other like a mosaic. A border around the image of President Kennedy is made with cancelled postage stamps of Presidents Lincoln and Washington.
Historical NoteThis portrait of John F. Kennedy was presented by Dora and Jacob Blackburn to John McNally (Presidential Assistant) on June 27, 1961 in the East Wing of the White House.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift from a member of the general public to the President and Mrs. Kennedy received by John McNally, Presidential Assistant in 1961 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
