Advanced Search Instructions

If you would like to refine your search results, you can use Advanced Search to search by specific attribute or attributes. With Advanced Search, your results will include items that match every condition you specify.

To add a new attribute, select the name of the attribute from the dropdown menu, and enter your search query in the new field that appears. Click "Search" to run your query again and see your new results.

Topics include the role of religion in the 1960 campaign, the prospect of a Catholic president, and Senator Kennedy’s decision not to speak at a memorial service for four interfaith chaplains who died during World War II. Also included in this folder is a statement by religious leader Norman Vincent Peale.
