This folder contains letters sent to Senator John F. Kennedy and members of his staff from various individuals of Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and Ohio concerning the role of religion in the 1960 campaign, the prospect of a Catholic president, the distribution of anti-Catholic materials, and support for the Senator’s campaign. Also of note is an article by Dr. Robert Gordis titled, "A Preface to a Christian Jewish Dialogue," discussing the need for an open and in-depth conversation about the similarities and differences between Judaism and Christianity
