Kennedy's secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, concerning the Democratic National Committee's (DNC) efforts to plan the 1964 national convention. Materials include memoranda from DNC Chairman John M. Bailey concerning possible sites for the convention, a memorandum regarding the prospect of a "headquarters hotel," and a memorandum from Stephen Smith, President Kennedy's brother-in-law and Chief Executive of Joseph P. Kennedy Enterprises, concerning delegate appointments.
