White, various members of the White House staff, and individual citizens concerning incidents of discriminatory employment practices, efforts by labor organizations to eliminate discriminatory employment practices, and racial relations in Birmingham, Alabama. The folder also contains a publication by the United Steelworkers of America entitled "1961-1962 Fair Employment Practices in Steel: A Story of Progress."
