Folder Description
This folder contains telegrams from United States diplomats concerning international opinion on the U.S. resumption of atmospheric nuclear weapons testing. Of note is a press release containing President John F. Kennedy’s television and radio address on nuclear weapons testing and disarmament. Also included in this folder is a report by the United States Information Agency (USIA) Research and Reference Service titled, “Reaction to the Presidential Announcement on Nuclear Testing.”
