Mobility Devices

Manual wheelchairs are available at the Visitor Admission Desk on a first come, first served basis. Please return wheelchairs after your visit.

The Museum also welcomes your personal walkers, wheelchairs, and scooters.

All events in the Museum are wheelchair accessible. Elevators may be found at the start and end of the exhibit galleries, along with power assisted doors.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Assistance

Video presentations in the Museum feature open captions. American Sign Language interpretation is available with advanced notice. Please email kennedy.groupvisits@nara.gov for more information. You may also call 617.514.1575 or useĀ 711 for Telecommunications Relay Service.

Service Animals

The Museum has a Service Animal Policy, which permits animals specifically trained to perform tasks for persons with disabilities, access to public areas. Therapy animals are not considered service animals under the ADAAA 2008. Service animals must be under the control of their handlers at all times.
